Kailash International Retreat Center
Kailash IRC was purchased in June 2007 only three weeks after Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso expressed his vision of Switzerland hosting an international retreat centre of Kadampa Buddhism. Over the next eighteen months Kailash was completely renovated and refurbished.
The centre offers nine single rooms and nine twin rooms. Some of them have private balconies. All rooms are completely refurnished.
IRC Kailash provides all the necessary outer conditions for guided group retreats as well as for solitary retreats. Kelsang Trinlay is the resident teacher; he leads group retreats and courses.
Kailash International Retreat Centre is part of the international union of Mahayana Buddhist Study and Meditation Centres founded by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso (New Kadampa Tradition - International Kadampa Buddhist Union).
Kailash IRC provides perfect retreat conditions for groups as well as for individuals.
We offer a wide range of guided retreats and courses lead by qualified NKT teachers. These courses are open to everybody.
Buddha's instructions help us to find solutions to our daily problems and inner peace and happiness through the practice of meditation.
